*Note: All students are encouraged to begin their learning journey by seeking guidance from their elders and spiritual community. Studying with ONYI LOVE should be done in alignment with your lineage, initiatory tradition, or spiritual commitments. If you are on the path to priesthood, or apprenticed to another priest or elder, please ensure that working with Onyi is in harmony with your current guidance and obligations.
Onyi is a priest of Orisa within the Ifa Isese tradition and offers these teachings in deep homage to her elders, ile (Ile Orunmila Afedefeyo), and lineage (Adesanya Awoyade lineage of Ode Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria). While her foundation is rooted in Isese, she honors and has studied the diasporic expressions of Yoruba spiritual systems—including Lukumi, Santería, Candomblé, Umbanda, Vodou, and Hoodoo—with deep reverence and respect. Her approach is informed by this wide ancestral field and reflects both lineage-based transmission and lived spiritual integration.
