Families In Denim: Denim Day Sound Immersion + Community Wellness

  • Martin Luther King Center Los Angeles, CA (map)

On Denim Day, we wear our jeans with intention... in solidarity with survivors, and in commitment to a world free of sexual violence.

Families In Denim is a free community wellness event hosted by All For Kids. It gathers families to learn, heal, and stand together. The day includes a self-defense class, empowering workshops for families, community resources, lunch, and raffle items.

Felicia “Onyi” Richards of ONYI LOVE offers a sound immersion. Singing bowls, chimes, and voice create a gentle space for families to breathe, soften, and feel safe in their bodies... because empowerment lives in the body, too.

When: Wednesday, April 29, 2026 · 10 AM–2 PM
Where: Martin Luther King Center, 11833 Wilmington Ave, Los Angeles, CA
Hosted by: All For Kids
Free and open to the community
