Rest is our birthright... and liberation, when it’s rooted, is unhurried, communal, alive.
A Juneteenth Gathering brings restoration to Christine Emerson Reed Park through music, the healing arts, film, and the kind of community that remembers where it came from.
Drop into a Sound Immersion with Felicia “Onyi” Richards of ONYI LOVE... then let the evening unfold:
Card readings with Sanyu Estelle
DJ sets by Black Girls Love Vinyl
Performances by Qur’an Shaheed, Tolliver, and Linafornia
Casted Frequencies, an art workshop with Camera Obscura Artist in Residence London James of Porcelain Sneakerhead, reimagining sneakers as artifacts
A screening of BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions, Kahlil Joseph’s 2025 feature-length cinematic art installation
Jamaican patties from The Patty Wagon, cake from Cakes By Chanté, and a 21+ wine garden curated by Offhand Wine Bar
Shopping with Aingeel-z Jewelry & Accessories, Wanawake Store, and Soul Food Candle Co.
Bring your low chair, your blanket, your people.
