Onyi is such a beautiful and powerful spirit! On the day of my mother's Celebration Of Light, March 6, 2021, Onyi opened up the ceremony with a blessing dedicated to my mother and it was phenomenal!
I chose to have Onyi at the beginning of the ceremony because after experiencing her spiritual work recently before during a group fast, I knew that she'd set the proper tone for my mom's service. Onyi honestly spoke about my mother's "sweetness" as if she knew her personally and I am still so grateful for the way she expressed love and honor because that is truly a depiction of who my mother was and always will be!
I have a family that is devoutly Christian and although Onyi's spirituality is displayed in a way that many of them had not experienced before, they all are still speaking of how beautiful she and her light are! Onyi impacted all of our hearts and souls for the better that day as she perfectly presented in pure love and embrace! She showed us that those energies can be shared and understood no matter how we may identify! Because of Onyi, I felt that we were all united that day as spirits of love and for a moment, we had the opportunity to center that instead of this worldly experience that can be so painful at times. Onyi helped make my mom's celebration joyous and I will always cherish that!
Oh, and her voice!! Let's just say we all know what it's like to hear an Angel sing now!
