PREPARATIONS/INSTRUCTIONS (suggestions for an optimal experience)
Prior to the event
Set an intention: Meditate on what you are ready to heal.
Food/drink: Stay hydrated and eat well for your body. If possible, level up your diet up in some way.
For the event:
Bring a small empty container with a lid for water
Bring a journal/notepad
Bring an item connected to a past experience, old story, or past version of yourself that requires healing. You must be willing to release it. You can also write something if an physical items doesn't exist.
Dress: Wear light colored or white clothing you can move/be moved in and don’t mind getting a little wet if water is incorporated.
ABOUT THE PRACTITIONER
Onyi (aka Onyi Love) is a multidisciplinary creative, multimodality healer, Iyaloriṣa (initiated oriṣa priestess) of Ọṣun and Ọbatala, and teacher. She is also a consultant for healers, leaders, and creatives desiring to show up in the fullness of their being for themselves and the collectives they serve. Onyi is a member of the LA-based Ifa community Ile Orunmila Afedefeyo, led by Awo Falokun Faṣegun and Iya Fayomi Ọṣundoyin Ẹgbẹyemi, under the Adesanya Awoyade lineage, of Ode Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. In all she does, Onyi seeks to bring grounding and peace, and to remind people of their dignity, beauty, and joy.
