Join the International Society of Black Latinos for “Creating Wellness in the Community” on June 7th, a vibrant event dedicated to fostering health and connection through culture. Experience an inspiring day filled with live music, dance, thoughtful panels, and delicious food—all designed to celebrate culturally rooted approaches to mutual support and healing.

Featured performances include Nadia Calmet and the Afro Peruvian Experience, who will guide the community through dance and reflection. Engage with insightful panel discussions led by experts such as artist Kianah LongChase, psychiatric occupational therapist Antoinette Petersen, public health specialist Yenifer Espitia Gil, psychotherapist Alex Dorsey, higher education administrator Daveon Swan, MS, and Dr. Wilsa Charles Malveaux, M.D.

The event culminates in a restorative sound bath session curated by healer and energy worker Onyi Love, offering a powerful moment of collective relaxation and renewal.
