How are we using our time—and these times…any times—for our individual and [true] collective benefit? Do we trust the timing of our lives? Do we consider that the lessons of the circumstances/situations we experience can serve us in the long run? The call to trust in particular continues to ring and I am doing my best to answer and stay in gratitude. I have been re-considering, re-configuring, and reflecting on who it is I imagine I am and what it is I believe I prefer. And let me tell you: sometimes I don’t have a clue. At others, everything is crystal clear, with the precise steps I need to take laid out before me in a way that is not only logical but also joyful. This vacillation in and of itself is a journey. My neutrality has been tested time and time again. Certain things have fallen out of my grasp just as easily as they initially came in. At times the processing of grief has happened so quickly (if not instantaneously) that I wonder if it even happened—which begs the question, is grief always necessary when we truly understand the nature of existence and the eternalness of our beings?
