July 2023 Monthly Update

Happy July!

Happy being in Summer full blown! I pray that you are initiating this month and continuing your journey through this season connected more strongly with whatever energy is necessary to help you experience the breakthrough you prefer. I’m excited to announce that PALMARES, the theatrical production I have been part of won 2 awards during this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival Awards ceremony!

• Best of the Broadwater

This is in addition to us having been a scholarship recipient from the very beginning!

We have an ENCORE show this evening (Saturday, July 1) at 8pm and have seats available. We hope to sell it out as we’ve done our previous shows.

This includes sharing this campaign and our story (contact me for more information) with Press, Philanthropists, and other generous individuals and organizations who delight in giving to the arts! We are a team of 20+ individuals that have been working for months to bring this beautiful production—based on historical and important events in the Afro-Brazilian and overall Afro-Diasporic experience—to life. ALL of us did so on a voluntary basis, while moving through so much. As part of the Production Team, my desire is to secure enough funds to pay everyone as much as we can for the tremendous amount of energy and heart that has been put into this run.
